Privacy policy

This policy covers Free Teleprompter App for iPhone and iPad and its support website, freeteleprompterapp.io. The app is provided by Nick Christensen. For privacy questions, contact nick@raxdigital.com.
Scripts and settings
Your scripts, reader settings, and reading progress are stored locally on your device. The app does not provide an account system or upload your scripts to a developer-operated cloud library. You can use its core reading and editing functions offline.
App data collection
Free Teleprompter App does not collect personal data through the app. It has no advertising or tracking features and does not require camera, microphone, or location access. Your scripts are not used for advertising or AI training.
Imports, exports, and device backups
When you import a file, the app reads the file you choose. When you export a backup, you decide where to save or share it. Files saved to iCloud Drive or another service are also subject to that service’s privacy policy.
Your device’s operating system may include app data in device backups, depending on your settings. Those backups are controlled by you and the backup provider, not by the app developer. Local storage does not mean exported files or system backups disappear when you delete a script.
Deleting your data
You can delete scripts within the app. Removing the app generally removes its local app data. To remove exported copies or device backups, delete those separately through the relevant file storage or backup service. Because we do not hold your script library, we cannot recover deleted scripts or remotely delete copies stored on your device.
Support emails
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use that information to respond, troubleshoot problems, and maintain support records. Please avoid sending sensitive scripts or other information that is not needed to resolve your issue.
Support messages are handled by our email provider and retained only as needed for support, recordkeeping, or legal obligations. You may request deletion by emailing nick@raxdigital.com. We do not sell support information or use it for advertising.
This website
This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, contact forms, or nonessential cookies. Our hosting provider may process routine technical information such as IP addresses, request times, and browser information to deliver and secure the website. This website processing is separate from the app’s local script storage.
Apple services
Apple operates the App Store and device-level services under its own privacy policy. Apple may process download, diagnostic, or backup information according to your device settings and its policies. This policy does not replace Apple’s privacy policy.
Children’s privacy
The app does not require personal information from users, including children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support inbox, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
Changes and contact
If the app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated with a new effective date. Questions or requests can be sent to Nick Christensen at nick@raxdigital.com.
